Do you accept insurance?

LifeStream Counseling ins a private pay practice and does not bill insurance directly. We can provide a supervise for you to submit to your instance company for possibly out-of-network reimbursement. Coverage varies, so we encourage you to contact your insurance provider directly.
Why do you use a private-pay model?

We intentionally maintain a smaller, boutique style, personalized practice focused on individualized care, privacy, clinical quality and strong therapeutic relationships. Private pay allows greater flexibility in determining the type, frequency, and length of services that best fit you or your family.
Can I use my HSA or FSA?

Many clients are able to use HSA or FSA funds for eligible mental health services
Because individual plans vary, please confirm eligibility with your plan administrator.
What are your fees?

Our standard fee for an individual counseling session is $185, with an initial intake session of $225.
We believe financial circumstances should not stand in the way of receiving meaningful support. We recognize that counseling is an investment, and we want to make our services accessible to individuals and families who may need some financial flexibility.
For this reason, Lifestream Counseling offers a sliding-scale fee option for those who qualify. If our standard fee feels outside of your current budget, please don't hesitate to reach out. We welcome the opportunity to talk with you about your circumstances and discuss whether a reduced fee may be available.
